and her work. Mostly we love that she celebrates women and supports them.
Having been through many difficulties in her life (as is true for most
of us), she continues on doing what she loves while helping her fellow
women along the way. (She supports human rights and education; she gives
a percentage of all her jewelry sales to Nari Uddug Kendra, a women’s
organization in Bangladesh, and the Isabel Allende Foundation.)
Her jewelry is unique and distinctive, capturing the symbolism that depicts
the power of women. Not simply angels, with Tâbra we have goddesses;
and for those of you who know a little about mythology, before the gods
existed, there were goddesses. Her favorite pieces are those which are
more ethnic/gypsy in style. Many pieces are composed of fossils, millions
of years old.
